To enable electronic transaction capability, Rite Aid has partnered with Global eXchange Services (GXS) to utilize its Order Lifecycle Visibility service for those suppliers who do not have their own EDI system. GXS Order Lifecycle Visibility provides you with the ability to receive purchase orders, send invoices, and send shipping notices. All of these documents are managed through an easy to use and intuitive Web based application. To ensure the security of your business information GXS uses communication encryption technology, secure database models, and role based authentication and authorization models. Rite Aid is offer the following transactions through GXS Order Lifecycle Visibility (OLV): (REVIEW)

• DC Purchase Orders from Rite Aid
• DC and DSD invoices to Rite Aid
• DSD credits to Rite Aid
• Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) to Rite Aid
• DC Product Activity/Inventory - Inventory visibility
• FA Management Scorecard

GXS not only has transactional web-forms capability, but Order Lifecycle Visibility as an added functionality providing you with the ability to monitor joint business processes. For example, for those suppliers who do not receive purchase orders from Rite Aid regularly, you can setup an alert to receive an email or page when you receive a PO. Through Order Lifecycle Visibility, you can:
